Why Easter

Christians celebrates Easter to the death of Jesus Christ and his resurrection 3 days after his death (he was crucified on Good Friday). Christians believes that Jesus is the son of God and that he died as punishment for everyone else wrong doings. After his death – on Easter Sunday, he came back to life to defeat evil and death.

People who believes in him, the Christians, believes that they will live forever in Heaven,

Easter is therefore the Christians mourn of Jesus death and celebration of his resurrection. Easter is celebrated all over the world in a lot of different ways.

The Easter starts right after Lent. Lent is a 40 days period before Easter which starts on Ash Wednesday and ends on Easter Sunday.
